YOUR AGENCY’S POINTERS

Your questions.
Our answers, made clear.

From your first access to following your stays, find the information you need to work with the Margo Hospitality collection.

01

Access and partnership.

Your agency, your team and your first steps.

What is Margo Partners?

Margo Partners is the professional portal of the Margo Hospitality collection. It allows your agency to search for a stay, check its rates, submit an option or a booking and follow its booking files.

How do I obtain agency access?

Complete the registration form with the details of your agency and of your main contact. Margo reviews your request and then informs you when your access is activated.

Can I book as soon as I have registered?

Your registration must first be validated by Margo. Your access level then determines whether you can place options and confirm bookings directly, or submit your requests for validation.

Is a contract with an annual rate sheet required?

Our collaboration is not based on a fixed rate sheet: prices change according to dates and availability. Margo’s validation of your registration formalises your access to the service and the terms of our partnership.

Can several members of staff use the portal?

Yes. Each member of staff has their own access and sees the agency’s shared booking files. The main contact remains the point of reference for your agency.

02

Rates and search.

Understanding your price and finding the right set-up.

How are agency rates calculated?

The price displayed is already your agency rate: your agency’s rate terms are applied directly. This rate is derived from the property’s public price, which changes according to dates and availability. Your agency rate therefore follows the same changes until your option or booking is confirmed.

When is the price guaranteed?

When your option or booking is confirmed. If your request requires Margo validation, the price is guaranteed upon that validation. An option keeps its rate when it becomes a firm booking, provided you confirm it before it expires.

Where can I find the cancellation and payment terms?

They are shown during the booking process, then kept in your booking file. Check them for each stay: they set out the cancellation deadlines, any fees and the payment due dates.

Can I search for rooms with different occupancies?

Yes. Enter the number of travellers and rooms: the portal looks for allocations compatible with the properties’ capacities and availability. You can then choose from the configurations offered.

How do I request separate beds?

Use the “Separate beds” filter to identify compatible rooms, then specify your choice in the room’s section when booking. Depending on the room, this may be a double bed that can be separated or two distinct beds.

03

Options and bookings.

From your client’s decision to the confirmation of the stay.

How does an option work?

A confirmed option temporarily holds the rooms and the rate while you obtain your client’s decision. It can last up to 72 hours; its exact expiry is shown in your booking file. Confirm it before it expires to keep the stay, or release it if your client does not go ahead.

How does it differ from a firm booking?

A firm booking confirms the stay under the applicable cancellation and payment terms. The option gives you time to decide: it must be converted into a firm booking before it expires.

Can I place an option for a stay this month?

Options are not offered for stays in the current month. You can submit a firm booking, subject to validation if your access level so provides.

How do I book more than four rooms?

Requests for more than four rooms are subject to Margo validation, whatever your agency’s access level.

Do I need to know all the travellers’ names to book?

The lead traveller must be entered. The names of the other occupants are optional; you can enter them individually for each room.

Can I amend or cancel a stay?

Open the booking file to see the amendment or cancellation possibilities. The terms and any fees depend on the stay and on the date of your request.

04

Payments and follow-up.

Your payments, your documents and the next actions.

Whom do I pay for the stay?

You always pay the property directly, using the bank details and due dates shown in your booking file. Margo Partners does not collect payments and does not act as a payment intermediary. The portal lets you declare your bank transfer and follow its receipt by the property.

When is my proforma available?

It is available in your booking file after firm confirmation of the booking.

How do I declare a payment?

From your booking file, enter the amount and date of the bank transfer, then attach the proof of payment requested.

Why has my balance not gone down after I declared the bank transfer?

The declaration informs the property of your payment. The balance is updated once the property or Margo has confirmed receipt by the bank.

How can I see what requires action from my agency?

The dashboard shows the actions you need to deal with. The “My bookings” section also lets you find the booking files concerned, with the nearest due dates first.

Where can I find my past stays?

In “Archived bookings”. Completed stays that no longer require any action remain available in your workspace.

How do I contact Margo?

For a specific or urgent request, write to booking@margo-partners.com, giving the booking file reference and the dates of the stay. For an urgent request, put “Urgent” in the subject line of your email.
